Following are the list of programs that Kabul University Cisco Regional Networking Academy is offering for the students and instructors:

IT Essentials I & II
 

IT Essentials I: PC Hardware and Software, sponsored by Cisco System, INC  presents an in-depth exposure to computer hardware and operating systems. Students learn the functionality of hardware and software components as well as suggested best practices in maintenance, and safety issues. Through hands on activities and labs, students learn how to assemble and configure a computer, install operating systems and software, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. In addition, an introduction to networking is included. This course helps students prepare for CompTIA's A+ certification.

 

IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems, sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Company, is an intensive introduction to multi-user, multi-tasking network operating systems. Characteristics of the Linux, Windows 2000, NT, and XP network operating systems will be discussed. Students will explore a variety of topics including installation procedures, security issues, back up procedures and remote access.

 
CCNP I
 
 
 
CCNA Discovery I -IV and CCNA Exploration I-IV
 

CCNA Courses 1 through 4 of the Academy Program, equivalent to 280 hours of instruction, provides students with a basic foundation in networking.  CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) teaches students to design, build, and maintain computer networks. The Academy curriculum covers a broad range of topics, from basic networking skills such as pulling cables to more complex concepts such as applying advanced troubleshooting tools.  Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are eligible to earn Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) certification.

 
Fundementals of Wireless LAN
 

Fundamentals of Wireless LANs are an introductory course that will focus on the design, planning, implementation, operation and troubleshooting of wireless networks.

 
Network Security I & II
 

Fundamentals of Network Security will teach students to design and implement security solutions that will reduce the risk of revenue loss and vulnerability.
